MMI Structure

Our mock interview is structured into 5 stations, each lasting 5 minutes . You’ll have 1 minute to review the question, 3 minutes to respond, and 1 minute for immediate feedback.

 

This format replicates the real interview process, helping you manage time, think under pressure, and improve your answers with personalised guidance.

Medical Hot Topic Question

Answer a current medical hot topic question, showcasing your understanding of relevant issues and your ability to form a clear, balanced argument. Feedback will focus on the clarity and depth of your response.

Critical Thinking

Address a complex problem or ethical dilemma, demonstrating logical reasoning and structured decision-making. Feedback will highlight how well you analyse the situation and the practicality of your solution.

Empathy and Communication (Role Play)

Role-play a sensitive situation where you demonstrate empathy and clear communication. Feedback will focus on your active listening skills, emotional awareness, and interpersonal communication.

Self-Reflection and Motivation

Discuss your motivations for pursuing medicine or dentistry, reflecting on personal experiences and strengths. Feedback will focus on the authenticity and clarity of your response.

Data Interpretation

Candidates analyse medical or dental data, such as graphs or tables, to identify trends or issues. This station assesses interpretation, critical thinking, and communication skills, focusing on clinical relevance in medicine and dentistry.
